When we moved here last year, We had everyone talking about the homecoming weekend. I didn't know what they were talking about. It is basically a weekend Thursday through Sunday, where the whole community celebrate their class reunions. People out of state drive or fly in and everybody gathers down town to have all sorts of events. Hog wrestling, cow tipping, truck pulls, outhouse races, etc. There are different bands hired to perform different nights. There is a carnival team hired to bring rides, games, etc. Ending with a community service Sunday night outdoors in the square.
GOOD memories made and fun times had.
